The NV008S by Pard is a compact and lightweight night vision scope that utilises Pard’s self developed 2K 1920×1080 sensor, which provides outstanding imaging in complete darkness. Together with the 940 nm infrared illuminator, detection up to 350 metres can be achieved, and besides this, Pard developed and implemented an Imaging Engine Module algorithm, a piece of software which greatly improves image quality, for improvement of 20% relative to NV008P. This night vision scope can be used as a handheld camera, and as a rifle scope with the supplied mount, with which it can be mounted to a Weaver/Picatinny rail.
This NV008S night vision scope captures video in AVI format, these files are shown in a 1920×1080 resolution and 30 frames per second. The Pard device features a camera with 0.001 lux sensitivity, which ensures high quality recordings in extremely dark circumstances., these recordings can be transferred to other devices using the Wi-Fi hotspot.
The Picture-in-Picture function offers the option for a zoomed in rendition in a separate window in the top of the display. When Self-activated Recording is active, the device automatically captures 20 seconds of video of the moment before and after when a shot, when it’s detected.
Included is a 18650 3.7V rechargeable battery, which can be replaced fast and easily. A full battery ensures enough power for 8 hours of use.
Please note: a microSD memory card is not included, and needs to be purchased separately (the maximum compatible capacity is 128 GB).
