Brexit Information

Per 1-1-2021 the United Kingdom has left the European Union.

This means the free trade of goods between the EU and the UK has stopped and all items sent to-, or coming from the UK will have to pass through customs.

To keep things simple and to avoid unforeseen costs for you, Huma-Air uses a DDP Service (Delivery Duty Paid) for consumer orders sent by standard shipping. This means NO extra costs for VAT or duties will be charged to you locally in the UK by HRMC.
These costs are covered in the total price of your order.

When you choose to use the UPS shipping method (available for orders over € 300) the DDP service is not avaialble and UPS will charge the VAT locally directly to you. (Huma-Air deducts the import costs off the order)

Please note:

DDP Shipments to the UK are sent in bulk containers by our logistic partner, they will take care of your countries Customs Services to deal with the clearance and UK government taxes.
This clearance proces by your countries custom services (DDP service) can take some time.
As soon as your parcel has been cleared by customs it is hand over to our local logistics partner Flostream.
Flostream will distribute the parcels to the local shipping service like Royal Mail or DPD.
As soon as the local shipper has received the parcel, the track and trace will be updated by their system and you will be able to follow the last part of the logistic route.
