JTS Airacuda PCP Air Rifle
The JTS Airacuda is a regulated PCP air rifle with a sleek appearance. One neat feature is that the shot power can be adjusted with a dial on the right side of the action.
The smoothly shaped stock comes with laser engraved chequering on the grip and forend, for a nice and secure hold. To make shouldering more comfortable and to dampen recoil, the stock comes with a rubber butt pad. The underside of the forend features a manometer for the pressurised air reservoir.
A barrel band between the barrel and pressurised air reservoir ensures a stiff construction to provide more accuracy. The cover on the end of the pressurised air reservoir covers the Foster connection. This connection enables the air rifle to be filled with pressurised air quickly. After it’s been filled up entirely, approximately 30 shots can be fired (which depends on the shot power).
The rifle comes with an adjustable 2-stage trigger, with a stock trigger weight of 900 grams (2 lbs). The convenient placement of the safety lever of the JTS Airacuda enables trigger finger operation. JTS placed a Weaver/Picatinny rail on top of the action, for you to mount your sights of preference to.

Wat kun je van de JTS Airacuda verwachten : Buks heeft goed afgewerkte metaaldelen geen scherpe randen of slechte passingen. Standaard met weaver rail gefreesd !
Mechaniek loopt precies en zeer soepel , goed werkend magazijn , weliswaar geen regulator maar wel 40 schot met minimale spreiding (2-6ms) in cal 25.
VO in voorlaatste stage 255 ms en laatste stage 260 ms met HN Baracuda Hunter (overigens de beste diabolo voor pestbestrijding) om en nabij 60 Joule (KK heeft 110 Joule) . De buks heeft een goed passende kolf van niet het mooiste hout maar wel van dichte structuur en vooral lang genoeg. Trekker 2 stage redelijk afstelbaar in het begin wat slepend wat na ě doosjes beter wordt. Trekker kan gemakkelijk nagepolijst worden. De loop is voorzien van een aluminium tube met ingebouwde moderator
het geluid is zeer aangenaam gemeten 83 !! decibel wat eigenlijk geen externe moderator vereist. Met de Huma air moderator wordt de buks nog enkele db. stiller. Precisie : geschoten op 50 meter buiten met wind 3 ms en temperatuur 22 C zij groepen van 1/2 inch of minder gemakellijk haalbaar. Zelf heb ik geen vervelende flyers vast gesteld.
Resumee : wil je een buks om rond de boerderij voor blikjes (ha ha) tot 100 m dan hoef je echt niet verder te zoeken voor die paar centen koop je een volwaardig produkt met hoge precisie veel doorslagkragt en eenvoudig principe.
