What does the H-LOC quick detach moderator adapter system entail?

Huma-Air designed this unique Quick Detach Moderator System, H-LOC, that allows you to attach your moderator to your barrel with just a 1/3 turn.
The H-LOC system is based on special threaded connection so the moderator is always locked firmly on your airrifle barrel without any chance of slack or movement.
It consists of a barrel part with female 1/2UNF-20 threads that screws on the threaded part of your barrel (H-LOC B) and a contra part what comes within our Mod40X  Quick Detach Airgun Moderator or with a H-LOC Moderator Adaptor that can be screwed into your 1/2 UNF or M14x1.25 moderator. So you can convert any moderator in a Quick Detach moderator.

The H-LOC system is available in several models and diameters, so you can always find the best match with your barrel or shroud size.
It allows you to use one moderator for different rifles. Just select the correct barrel adaptor for every rifle you have and use just one Mod40X Quick Detach Moderator or a H-LOC moderator adaptor for your moderator.
All H-LOC parts are compatible with each other.

This moderator adaptor is specially designed for shrouded barrels with 1/2 UNF threads like FX. The outer diameter of the moderator part is 23 mm. Detailed dimensions are visible in the product images.
Please note, this is the moderator part only (H-LOC M), to use the Quick Detach Moderator System, you would need to equip your barrel with one of the barrel adaptors (H-LOC B)

The parts are made entirely of steel which have undergone a special heat treatment for durability.

We would advice you to tighten the adaptor using a spanner or use a medium strength thread locker to fixate the adaptor to the barrel and the other part to the moderator to prevent the adapter for coming loose. A thread locking adhesive like Loctite® 2400 would be fine.
