The FX DRS 700 Base includes the airgun’s core system and barrel, without a stock. This modular design allows you to customize it with a stock or chassis of your choice for a tailored setup. The system integrates advanced airgun technology and multiple tuning options, including an externally adjustable regulator and hammer spring preload adjustment.

Air Tube Barrel Shroud
The FX DRS 700 Base features an air reservoir mounted around the barrel instead of a separate cylinder or bottle. This lowers the profile, improving shooting ergonomics and reducing storage space. The reservoir has a 208 cc air capacity.

Adjustable Regulator
Equipped with the MkII AMP regulator, the FX DRS 700 Base maintains consistent shot pressure. The regulator is externally adjustable, allowing precise pressure tuning for pellets or slugs to maximize accuracy and consistency.

Adjustable Hammer Spring
The hammer spring preload dial allows fine-tuning of the valve’s air release. Increasing preload keeps the valve open longer for higher power, while reducing it minimizes air use. This balance optimizes performance for different projectiles.

High Power Plenum
FX’s High Power (HP) and Super High Power (SHP) plenums regulate the exact air volume used per shot. The FX DRS 500 and 600 models feature an HP plenum, while the FX DRS 500 in 6.35 mm and the FX DRS (Pro) 700 include the larger SHP plenum for higher-powered slug shooting.

Superior STX Barrel System
The Superior STX barrel system uses a removable liner with externally pressed rifling for a smooth interior. This reduces friction and enhances sealing around the projectile. Models with an HP plenum in 5.5 mm or 6.35 mm include a Dual Hole transfer port, switchable for pellets or slugs. The barrel has a ½ UNF thread with a protector for mounting an optional moderator.

Adjustable Trigger
The fully adjustable trigger allows customization of first and second stages, as well as blade position and rotation for ergonomic precision.

Magazine Options and Rails
The FX DRS 700 Base comes with a mini magazine, enabling a low rifle scope mount. An optional 30 MOA Weaver/Picatinny rail can be added to the 11 mm dovetail rails. A higher rail is available for use with the optional mega magazine for increased capacity.

Cocking and Filling
Cocking is done via a smooth side lever on the right. The air reservoir is refilled quickly using the right-side fill probe port.

Note: The FX DRS 700 Base is pre-set for standard performance. Maximum power levels can be achieved through its multiple adjustment options.
