General Shipping Info

  • Huma-Air ships from its warehouse in The Netherlands to most countries worldwide.
  • Shipping method availability depends on your country, order value, and product type.Depending on the chosen product, you see all the possible shipping options and associated prices in the checkout.

 

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on destination country, product type, and. total order value. Available options and their costs appear after you have entered your shipping address in the checkout. 

 

Shipping Options & Transit Times

Huma-Air offers several shipping options, the availability of the options varies by country and are shown automatically.

Untracked Envelope

  • For: Small, low-value items (e.g., spare parts, o-rings)
  • Tracking: Not available
  • Transit Time: 1–2 weeks (up to 6 weeks)

Economy Shipping

  • Tracked via standard postal services
  • Affordable option
  • Transit Time: 1–2 weeks (up to 6 weeks)

Standard Shipping

  • Tracked, shipped via local parcel services
  • Transit Time: Varies by destination and customs processing speed

UPS Shipping

  • Fastest and most reliable courier service
  • Standard and Express options available at checkout
  • Note: DDP not available for UPS shipments to the UK (see UK Shipping)

 

As soon as your order is shipped you will receive an email with the shipping information and track and trace link of the courier service. It is our responsibility to ensure that the items are delivered to you. If a shipment is delayed, Huma-Air has a maximum period of 6 weeks to have the postal service conduct an investigation. If a package is considered lost, we will resend it.

 

Countries We Ship To

In essence we ship World Wide. If your country is not listed in the checkout of our website, we might be affected by possible European sanctions, have restrictions by financial service providers or there are other reasons why we are prohibited to export to your country.

Additional information for international Shipping Outside EU

For shipping outside of the EU there are a few things to keep in mind. 

  • Huma-Air must provide all packages with customs documents and for this the original invoice will be included with the package.
  • We ship on your behalf and Huma Air can therefore not be held liable for any legal issues with your governments customs services.
  • You as an importer are responsible for complying with your local legislation.
  • If a package is seized by your government’s customs services due to legal matters, Huma-Air will not refund or resend it.
  • If a parcel is refused by your government’s customs services and returned to us, we will refund the value of the parcel minus the shipping costs and possible return shipping costs.
  • For shipments outside the European Union, it might be possible your government will charge you with additional costs like import taxes or import rates
  • Some products are not available for specific countries, you will receive a message when you try to add these items to your card.

 

UK Shipping – Delivery Duty Paid (DDP) Explained

No additional charges for you. 

To keep things simple and to avoid unforeseen costs for you, Huma-Air uses a DDP Service (Delivery Duty Paid) for consumer orders sent by standard shipping. This means NO extra costs for VAT or duties will be charged to you locally in the UK by HRMC. These costs are covered in the total price of your order.

 

There is one exception for. UPS orders over €300 as they do not qualify for DDP. How will this go? 

  • UPS will charge import costs directly to you
  • Huma-Air deducts those charges from your total at checkout

Shipping Process to the UK

  • When your parcel is packed you will receive an email with the track and trace link to follow your parcel
  • As soon as your parcel leaves the logistic depot in the EU the track status will show “Depot Scan”
  • Your package is presented for import to UK Customs, this clearance process (DDP service) takes in general to 1 to 14 days.
  • (occasionally a parcel will be picked out by customs for inspection, this can take a while)
  • During this clearance process the track will hold the this “Depot Scan” status.
  • When the parcel is cleared in customs it will be forwarded to our distribution partner in the UK,  Flostream
  • Flostream will distribute the parcels to the local shipping service, Royal Mail or DPD.
  • As soon as the local shipping service has received the parcel, the track and trace will be updated by their system and you will be able to follow the last part of the logistic route.
  • You can expand the tracking data by clicking the “+”  on the tracking page and then click “Deep Track” to go to the local tracking.
