To keep things simple and to avoid unforeseen costs for you, Huma-Air uses a DDP Service (Delivery Duty Paid) for consumer orders sent by standard shipping. This means NO extra costs for VAT or duties will be charged to you locally in the UK by HRMC. These costs are covered in the total price of your order.

When you choose to use the UPS shipping method (available for orders over € 300) the DDP service is not avaialble and UPS will charge the VAT locally directly to you. (Huma-Air deducts the import costs off the order) More info….

We will do our very best to sent products, listed in stock and ordered before 14.00, the same working day.

Yes, after your item is shipped you will receive a track and trace link so you can follow the parcel. (Unless it is mentioned differently)

If your items were in stock at the time you ordered them, and you did not received a track email after max 5 days, please check you spam/unwanted email folder. The track and trace email is sometimes marked as “spam” by some internetproviders. Our logistic partner uses “Tracking” as sender name.

In transit means that the package has left our mail depot into the direction of the destination country. It is therefore currently located between countries. Upon arrival in the destination country it will go directly to the customs services for inspection. As soon as the package is released, it is hand over to the local postal services and the track and trace will be updated. This period can last between 1 and 6 weeks.

This means that there was no error in the shipping process. Otherwise you would have received an email notification and the notification would have indicated on the screen: Error Notification : Sent -date-

The expected delivery date in the tracking link is just a general indication and does not include customs retention period and delays. Custom retention can be between 1 and 6 weeks depending of the speed of your countries custom services.

When we ship outside the EU, a custom declaration form is required. All our high pressure air parts are shipped as “pneumatic parts” and the invoice is attached to the parcel. More info…

We cannot ship parcels to PO boxes or APO boxes.

Do not sign for proper delivery if the parcel is visiblily damaged. You can accept the parcel, but let the driver make a mark of the damage. Also take pictures before opening the parcel. Any claims for damaged products, need to be made by email, within 24 hours after receival of the parcel at info@huma-air.com

If you have received an e-mail stating the package has been packaged or sent, it means that it has actually been sent.
Our courrier will update the track and trace normally within 48 hours during working days.
Untracked shippings: As mentioned on our website, some small parts are standard sent without track and trace to reduce your shipping costs. In this case you will not receive a track and trace code and your items were sent by normal letter post. More info…

From the moment the track shows a parcel was sent abroad or in transit, it has to be processed by your countries custom services, the legal period for a custom investigation is maximum 6 weeks. These circumstances are beyond our control and can cause delay. As soon as the parcel is hand over to the local courier services the track will be updated again.

Average shipping time can time can be anything between 1 and 8 weeks depending of the speed of your countries custom services.

You can trace your items by using the links you received in your email when the parcel was sent.

If there is no movement in the supplied track and trace code for at least 4 weeks, we can start an investigation of the shipment. If there is no movement in the trace for 8 weeks we consider the parcel to be lost and you can contact us with your order number and track and trace code for a replacement shipment. So if there is no movement in the track and trace for 4 weeks, you can contact us by filling in the contact form

No, never exceed the factory adviced fill pressure of your rifle! When an o-ring in the regulator would fail, the (higher) fill pressure will be on the action of your rifle and it is not designed for this. This can cause a dangerous or even lethal situation.

If you want to shoot extra heavy pellets you might consider selecting a larger caliber regulator, so a .25 instead of a .22 or a .30 instead of a .25 These plenum sizes are bigger what will have a positive effect one the pelletspeed with the extra heavy pellets.

No, plenum sizes are power specific, for example, the sub 12 ft.lbs models are physically smaller compared to the high power model models.

Because there are numerous combinations of pellets, pellet weights, pellet speed etc. it is not posible for us to test them all,
So unfortunately we cannot give any advice about shotcount, air consumption and pelletspeeds.
This kind of information can normally be found on the bigger local and international airgun forums like Airgun Nation were people share their results.

Yes, setting the regulator output pressure is as easy as turning up your central heating:
In between the slots of the set screw there is a very fine mark on the side of the set screw, indicating the set pressure.

When a regulator is brand new or it has been rebuild, the valve seat and setscrew need to wear into eachother. This is what we call the “inbedding” of the regulator and it will improve accuaracy after a period of use.

When your pelletspeeds climbs up at the end of the shotstring, the regulator pressure is set to high compared to the hammerspring tension. You can increase hammerspring tension what will create a higher pellet velocity or reduce the regulator pressure and also re-adjust the hammerspring tension again to get the best balance

A regulator is not a direct “On/Off” type of valve but it is a delicate balance between forces. During a period of not using the rifle, the pressure in the regulated chamber can go up slightly higher, causing the first shot to have a higher or lower velocity.

This is a normal symptom and not to be confused with regulator creep.

Pellet speed fluctuations can have different causes:

When you shoot over the chrony, shoot slowly like you are on the shooting lane and use a good fixed position of your rifle.

When the regulator is brand new fitted to the rifle, it indicates the balance between regulator pressure and hammerspring tension is not correct. Check the general airrifle adjustment tips for setting up your regulated rilfe properly.

Too much grease on the hammer or hammer spring can cause a “sticky
hammer” causing pelletspeed fluctuations.

A defective o-ring on the pelletprobe or transferport can give fluctuations in pelletspeed.

When your regulator is used for a longer period and it starts being inconsistant it might need a rebuild. More info about a rebuild can be found here: regulator revision instructions

When a regulator is brand new it needs to get worn in, this is what we call the imbedding period of the regulator. During this period the pressure can vary a bit before it get fully stable. This is not regulator creep but a normal phenomenon.

Regulator creep can have a few causes:
A tiny scratch on the delrin valvedisk or dirt between the setscrew and valvedisk. Flipping over the white valve disk will probably solve the issue.
The other option is a defective o-ring of the setscrew, in this case the reg does not stop creeping and the regulated pressure gets equal to the fill pressure.
The last option is there is a scratch on the setscrew tip, this is highly uncommen but you can check it with a magnifier glass.

An air leak is never rocket sience but it can be very anoying. A large shissing leak indicates an o-ring what is not seated properly.
Small leaks are 9 out of 10 times caused because the inner wall of the pressure tube is a bit rough or the surface were the regulator stands on is not smooth enough. A good polish will probably solve the problem.

We use a very very small transit hole in our regulator to make sure the shot to shot accuracy will be excellent. Because the 200 bar is pushed trough a very small air passage it is possible you hear the air flow when the plenum is refilling after a shot. This is normal behavior. At Huma-Air we prefer precision and accuracy over speed of our regulator

Inside the regulator there are a few o-ring what will by used dynamicly. So when you notice fluctuations in the pelletspeed it might be time for maintenace or rebuilding your regulator:

We have complete rebuild kits available in our webshop including our special delrin valve disk and low viscosity silicone grease.

As long as you open up the regulator at the back side with the C clip, the setting stays about the same and you can service and swap o-rings. When you want to unscrew the set screw, alway measure the total lenght of the regbody + screw so you can screw it back together in the same length. Please follow the regulator revision guide for full explanation. It can be found on fitting instructions page of our website.

An apply for recall or refund of a product will only be honored within 14 days of the initial tracked postage delivery date and only in consultation of Huma-Air bv.
As soon as possible, but within 14 days from the day following the apply for refund, the consumer will send the product back to Huma-Air bv following the shipping instructions what we will sent by email.

The product needs to be sent back with all delivered accessories, if reasonably possible in the original state and packaging.
The consumer bears the direct costs of the returning of the product.

We do not accept delivery of returned items where the postage has not been paid.
We do not accept delivery of returned items with Duty Fees applied.
Damaged or used products are not eligible for refund.

Refunding shall take place no later than within 14 days after receipt of the returned product. Huma-Air BV refunds the price of the product, exclusive the initial sending costs made for the delivery of the product.
