For the AEA Challenger Bullpup Standard we have a high volume pressure regulator available suitable up to caliber .30
This regulator is vented to the atmosphere without any modification to your pressure tube. So no drilling in the tube and also no creeping up in power during time.
Please note: For the AEA Challenger Big Bore Bullpup with a pressure tube diameter of 40,7 mm you would need this model

Huma-Air Quality Control
Huma Air regulators are CNC produced out of high grade aircraft aluminum and bronze. To guarantee a perfect product, every regulator is individually assembled, tested in a computerized simulation program and adjusted to the requested pressure.
We only use high-end materials and our Belleville springs are designed for critical applications to achieve the highest repeat accuracy. This gives our regulators a repeat cycle less than 1% difference.
Huma Air provides a 2-year warranty on their regulators. Excluded from warranty are shipping costs and parts that are subject to normal wear and tear such as o-rings and valve discs.

Your AEA Challenger Bullpup Tuning Regulator comes preset on the most common pressure setting.
It is equipped with a clear pressure scale label, so you can very easy re-adjust, or fine tune the pressure setting without the need of a regulator pressure tester.
The output pressure range is stepless adjustable from 90-170 bar.

I spoke to Huma about this regulator to see if it would work in my .25 challenger (standard) non-bullpup. Their English was not clear, but the person I spoke to over email said it wouldn’t work with the standard rifle. I ordered it anyway to see if it would work. It actually does work, but with a caveat. The air tube on the Standard rifle has a step in it that opens to a larger inner diameter. This is so the air tube can clear the valve when its screwed down. Because of this, the regulator will not fit. But there is a simple fix! You just move the manometer/filling plug to the other side and flip the tube around! The regulator then fits properly!

Was having problems with the original regulator on my Aea challenger regulated bullpup. Bought this and removed the original reg, but kept the original plenum installed and piggy backed the huma plenum and reg on top. Now I get 24 shots at 55 fpe with a extreme spread of 10fps. Reg set to 150 bar. Super happy. I have huma regs on all my airguns.

This regulator set at 170 bar puts 53gr bullets from a .25ACP bullet mold into the same hole at 20 yards. So well in fact that I thought I missed 3 times in a row. Nope. Same hole. Still touching at 40 yards. Even when my 10 year old shoots it. I haven’t tried or tuned the regulator for pellets, but it sure is a great shooter with my 53 gr cast bullets. Highly recommended. Very easy to install too. And much quieter.

I contacted Huma Regulator they were very helpful, I asked them to set my Regulator to 190bar. My regulator arrived no instructions and web site link did not work. I managed to install the regulator. I was trying to get 60- 65fpe from my .22 AEA Challenger Bullpup. My figures showed 190bar would be close to what I needed. My .22 is at 55fpe with ZAN 28gr slugs . I am getting 26 regulated shots and exceptional accuracy. I would highly recommend this regulator. If it had a larger plenum I would install one in my .30 /32″ Challenger.

Best upgrade u can do for this gun Huma regulator in 30 cal AeA challenger bull pup it made this gun much more accurate and uses much less air must use much lighter hammer spring ace hardware 5/8 inch shorter spring then shorten spring 1 coil at a time until chronograph peaks

I have purchased 3 of these regulators and they work as advertised. Have them in 2 .25 calibers. They shoot much tighter groups and the gun is noticeably quieter. Recommend getting the regulator tester to dial in the regulator before installing.

You may need to cock the rifle before filling it up or you could experience a valve leak!
Besides this hiccup that confused me for a few hours, I can honestly say this is one of the best regulators I’ve ever seen! My shot variance is typically 5-6 psi over a 12 shot string at 165 bar. I’m shooting nielsen 54.5 gain slugs at 910 average fps for a perfect 100 ft lbs in the challenger bullpup .30. I’m hitting squirrels at 150 yards with just a few mil hold over and it’s consistent. Took a gun that was raw power and made it a tight grouping monster. Easy 1/2 inch Groups at 50 and just over an inch at 100!

This is my second Huma regulator and both operate flawlessly. Huma has been great to work with. Shipping to my house in the state of Kansas in the USA was less than 4 days. I was impressed!
This regulator is installed in an AEA Challenger 32 inch barrel .30 cal. I set regulator to 170 bar. Aired up to 4300 psi I managed 15 shots of 61.5 grain NSA slugs at 1030-1035 fps before it fell off the regulator Very consistent.

Great regulator once you get it installed. At 170 bar reg pressure I get 915fps avg with 44.75 JSB’s and the accuracy is awesome along with consistent pellet speed. I love my reg in my .30 cal Challenger Standard Long Stock. I would recommend this to anybody owning the Challenger series air rifle.

I’m very impressed with this regulator. Installed it in less than 15 minutes. I have a video on my channel on YouTube installing the regulator. I set mine at 168 bars (2400 psi) now I get consistent shoots with slugs going at 905 fps. That’s 119 foot pounds. The slugs are 65.5 grains.

Purchased 2 of the AEA challenger Bullpup tuning regulators for my .25 and .30 calibers. First off I ordered them on a Monday and got them on Thursday the same week. Unbelievable that they can get this half way around the world in 3 days!!! Way to go Huma!!
After taking the time and chronograph to set these up the results were dramatic. The guns are noticeably more quiet and very accurate. Add a moderator to it and nothing more than a wisp of air can be heard with even tighter groups. If you are serious about your pcp a tuning regulator is a must.
