Vector Optics Frenzy-X GenII Red Dot
The Vector Optics Frenzy-X GenII Red Dot is a compact reflex sight with a 3 MOA aiming dot, aspherical lens and a durable 7075-T6 aluminium housing. It is supplied with a Weaver/Picatinny mounting base for direct installation on a compatible accessory rail.
The aspherical lens design helps reduce optical distortion towards the edges of the sight picture. Combined with the multi-coated lens surfaces, this provides a clear image with good light transmission and colour reproduction while maintaining a wide field of view.
The 3 MOA red dot offers eleven brightness settings, consisting of nine daylight levels and two settings suitable for use with night vision equipment. Windage and elevation provide an adjustment range of 45 MOA, with clearly defined 1 MOA clicks for straightforward zeroing.
Power is supplied by a CR2032 battery, which is installed through a side-access compartment. The battery can therefore be replaced without removing the sight from the mounting rail, helping to retain the existing zero. At the lowest brightness setting, the stated battery life is up to 50,000 hours.
An integrated motion sensor further reduces unnecessary battery consumption. After approximately two minutes without movement, the sight automatically switches off. Movement of the sight activates the red dot again, allowing it to remain ready for use without continuous manual operation.
The housing is machined from 7075-T6 aluminium alloy and has an IPX7 water resistance rating. It can withstand temporary immersion in water up to approximately 1 meter for 30 minutes.
