FX Dynamic MKII Benchmark PCP Air Rifle

The FX Dynamic MKII Benchmark Air Rifle

The FX Dynamic MKII Benchmark is a purpose-built PCP air rifle developed specifically for benchrest shooting. Based on the Dynamic MKII platform, it combines a dedicated benchrest chassis with a heavy 20 mm steel bull barrel, a large plenum and extensive external adjustment options.

The aluminium buttstock has a wide, flat underside designed to track straight on a rear bag or benchrest support. Its angular construction directs movement directly to the rear and allows additional weights to be installed inside the stock when a higher overall rifle weight or different balance is required.

At the front, the 480 cc carbon fibre air bottle is positioned underneath the aluminium forend. An integrated Arca-Swiss rail provides a flat contact surface for benchrest use and can also be used for mounting a compatible bipod or tripod. M-LOK slots on both sides allow additional weights and accessories to be fitted.

The Dynamic MKII action uses the adjustable AMP MKII regulator, with a dedicated pressure gauge for monitoring regulator pressure. Hammer spring tension can be adjusted externally through the Quick Tune System (QTS). Separate macro and micro adjustment wheels make it possible to fine-tune the rifle without dismantling the action. The adjustable match trigger can also be set to suit the shooter’s preferred trigger characteristics.

A major feature of the Benchmark is its 20 mm steel bull barrel, which is threaded directly into the action block for a rigid connection. Inside the barrel is FX’s interchangeable Superior STX liner system. The rifling is formed from the outside of the liner, producing a smooth internal bore. Liners can be exchanged when changing projectile type or when a different twist rate is required.

The supplied liner depends on calibre. The 5.5 mm (.22) version uses a Superior Heavy liner with a 1:16 twist rate, while the 6.35 mm (.25) version also uses a Superior Heavy 1:16 liner. The 7.62 mm (.30) version is supplied with a Superior liner with a 1:40 twist rate.

At the muzzle, the barrel is fitted with an air stripper and M18x1 thread. A 30 MOA Weaver/Picatinny rail on top of the action provides additional elevation range for scope adjustment.

The FX Dynamic MKII Benchmark has a 181 cc plenum, a maximum filling pressure of 250 bar and a total air capacity of 480 cc. Its combination of a rigid steel barrel, dedicated benchrest stock, adjustable regulator, QTS tuning system and interchangeable STX liners makes it specifically suited to precision benchrest configurations.

Please note: The FX Dynamic MKII Benchmark is supplied with a general factory tune. The maximum power stated in the specifications may require adjustment of the regulator, hammer spring and other available tuning settings.
