The BinTac 16 Joule Transfer Port is a replacement airflow restrictor for the BinTac T9 and T30 PCP platforms. Its reduced internal passage limits the amount of compressed air travelling from the valve system towards the barrel, configuring the rifle for an approximately 16 Joule – 12 ft/lbs power level.

Function

The transfer port forms part of the air path between the valve system and barrel. Compared with the unrestricted configuration, this version uses a smaller internal passage to reduce the volume of air available during each shot.

This provides a mechanical method of configuring compatible T9 and T30 models for a lower muzzle-energy range without permanently modifying the main valve components.

This transfer port is specific to the T9/T30 platform and should not be assumed to fit other BinTac models.

Installation and power level

The part replaces the corresponding transfer port in the rifle. Installation should be carried out with the PCP system fully depressurised and by a competent person familiar with the platform.
The nominal rating is approximately 16 Joules. Actual muzzle energy can vary with ammunition, rifle configuration and adjustment, so the rifle should be chronograph-tested after installation where a specific legal energy limit applies.
